Analog Photography Clubs Fill Up With Teenage Members

Film cameras, once relegated to thrift store shelves, are now sought after by a generation raised on smartphones.Camera shops report teenagers buying decades-old point-and-shoots and manual SLRs, drawn by the slower, more deliberate process compared to unlimited digital shots. School photography clubs have added darkroom sessions back into their curricula after years of digital-only instruction. Film manufacturers, which had scaled back production for years, are now expanding runs again to meet renewed demand.
